The team
Our IT, InfoSec, Cyber Risk & Business Ops team - is in the business of trust and reliability. We create, maintain and operate scalable technology and data solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for our internal & external customers. We embrace Agile principles and values, favor DevOps practices, and view infrastructure as code, all while we create an infrastructure that scales and supports our growth and ambitious vision. This requires a smart, highly collaborative team who can identify, investigate, and implement new technologies to continue securely scaling our global business.

This position
The DocuSign security architecture team is looking for the right person to own and evolve security architecture programs. The Security TPM is a critical part of the DocuSign security architecture assessment program. Coordinating with appropriate subject matter experts, this individual determines the investigation levels for all technology requests. They take responsibility for the requests through the program and drive improvements based on data.

You are a passionate, customer-focused, and eager security professional who is excited about security, with a solid foundation in program management. You are a technology minded resource with a drive for building security programs who is looking for an opportunity to expand security experience across multiple domains.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Security Architecture and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve security architecture and engineering security assessment program
  • Lead a global program that enforces strong security patterns across applications and computing environments, while addressing security, business resiliency, privacy, and compliance frameworks
  • Contribute to the security architecture strategies based on program results
  • Identify and propose new Identity technologies that yield security, administration, and end-user experience advantages while reducing risk and driving cost efficiencies
  • Manage and evolve KPIs to indicate the health of security-related programs
  • Stay apprised of current and proposed security changes impacting compliance with regulatory and security industry best practice
  • Be a positive force for security, privacy, and data protection best practices across the enterprise
  • Engage the community across multiple channels, looking to share, educate, and inspire

Basic qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years related experience with a Master’s degree
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in at least two of the following: Cloud computing environments (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, GCP, etc.); Running and operating security tooling, for example:(Firewalls, Data loss prevention, Identity management, Intrusion detection/prevention systems, Endpoint protection systems, Email protection, Threat Intelligence systems, Vulnerability Management systems); Leading structured projects using computerized planning systems; Leading technical discussions with subject matter experts

  • Analytical thinking in cybersecurity and business
  • Ability to investigate and learn new technologies
  • Excellence in communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues
  • A proven background in security implementation and delivery
  • Proven ability to influence technical and business leadership
  • Capacity to work on cross-functional projects
  • Industry security certifications or college degree
