Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist to join our Advisory Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute on a broad range of data and analytic techniques at the direction of KPMG and client leaders
  • Research and study the business for a given project; critically dissect the strategy and lead the development of insightful analysis
  • Collaborate with Deal Advisory and Strategy teams to provide deep business analytics and integrate findings into product deliverables
  • Provide advanced technical services using the Esri platform to enable client-facing business teams with the tools and analyses needed to achieve desired results
  • Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-scale GIS, enterprise geodatabase models, automation scripts, and applications
  • Interpret and explain geospatial products to mission leadership and stakeholders and work with and train non-GIS users on GIS concepts and products

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years professional services experience in project management, including planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients and/or partners towards the successful completion of a of enterprise-scale GIS implementation
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Urban Planning, Computer/Data Science, D&A or other related field w/GIS and data analytics experience; Master’s degree preferred
  • Demonstrate high-level competence in Geospatial tools, such as Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro 10.x, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, Network Analyst, Collector and 3D Analyst extensions, relational databases (ex. SQL server, Postgres, and/or other enterprise database systems) and web services development, including REST, SOAP, and WMS. Arcade, SQL, and Python scripting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to businesspeople, potentially including C-level executives, and explain business processes, concepts, challenges, and issues to technical resources
  • Willingness and ability to travel
