Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and organizing the recruitment strategies and activities supporting Comcast Advertising, Effectv, and Freewheel brands. You will manage the recruitment process in its entirety, from job requisition to on-boarding. You will collaborate with the leadership team to establish goals, objectives, and hiring priorities. Cultivates and maintains relationships to source candidates and provide a quality candidate experience. You will evaluate employment applications, conduct screens, and interview candidates and provides employment recommendations to the hiring manager. Our team is a 100% virtual team and ideal locations are near our main Comcast Advertising hubs: Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, Denver, Chicago, Houston and will mostly support roles based on an Eastern and Mountain Time Zones. The recruiter will support and lead searches on leadership positions within our Corporate functions, Data Insights & Analytics, and Product Management. This area of the business is growing and you will have a integral part in building and making Effectv the top audience delivery company.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the recruitment process including: job requisition design, sourcing, screening, pre-employment checks, compliance, offers of employment and on-boarding. Works with senior management to develop strategies across all business units.
  • Collaborates with hiring department to develop firm understanding of the role and team culture, including skills and background required for the position. This could include recommending revisions to the JD and using data to influence a successful search.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation through hiring manager connections as well as represent Talent Acquisition in Workforce Planning.
  • Builds candidate pipeline through targeted advertising, direct sourcing, employee referrals, networking and recruitment events. Develops and maintains relationships with businesses, government and community service agencies, colleges, employment agencies and search firms and other recruiters. Makes public presentations at job fairs, schools and organizations regarding the Company and its employment opportunities.
  • Reviews employment applications, resumes and other credentials. Oversees pre-screening, in-person interviews and pre-employment assessments. Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews and assists hiring managers with interviews when necessary. Provides timely follow up and correspondence.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition team on background investigations and verifications of educational and employment experience.
  • Provides employment recommendations to hiring manager based upon candidate qualifications, application materials, interviews and references.
  • Assists leadership team with developing recruitment budgets, budgeting goals and objectives and key financial and operational metrics. Tracks and reports on hiring costs, turnover, diversity and other activity areas.
  • Facilitates career development discussions with employees and management.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications (What you’ll need)

  • 5+ years of corporate and or executive search firm; experience must include full life cycle from sourcing through close while working with senior-level stakeholders
  • A passion for diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process and comfortable consulting on best practices
  • Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive activity
  • Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships
  • Strong communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Possess strong analytic skills with the ability to use a data-driven approach to recruitment

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
