As a Marketing & Social Content Manager , you will work alongside our Marketing and Community Development team to bring the Poshmark brand and our growing business to life with key influencers and social channels. This role will focus on engaging and growing our current audience and developing impactful campaigns working across a variety of social platforms, audiences, programs and influencers.

- Minimum 5 year experience in a marketing/social media/tech role
- MUST love fashion
- People management experience - Lead with empathy and inspire others
- Can think strategically about growth plans as well as the day-to-day
- Has the drive, ambition and capabilities to grow their career with Poshmark
- Is always thinking about the best platforms and formats for telling stories and communicating brand messages from TikTok to Reels to IGTV and beyond. You live and breathe social media!
- Has worked with influencers, can write briefs, approve content and form a relationship with them.
- Has strong communication skills and is both creative and analytical, with great attention to detail.
- Can create and use platforms to make and edit content.
- Understands the Poshmark product & community
- Has a strong work ethic and can be flexible as needed—ideally be able to work some nights, weekends and holidays during peak times if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and support Poshmark’s social media presence : collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and international cross-functional teams to support a subset of our social media channels, including but not limited to: Instagram, Tiktok, Youtube and more.
- Engage, listen to, and grow our social communities : Develop platform strategies and content plans that generate growth across platforms, increase engagement, and foster community. Includes community management: monitoring, responding to, and engaging.
- Drive content development: Conceptualise and create compelling evergreen and campaign-based social content.
- Stay ahead of social trends: Be the day-to-day point person for all things social and culture—constantly monitor what's going on, ID what trends are developing and where Poshmark can have a voice/ownable moment in our local Australian market.
- Track, learn, & optimise: Analyse and distribute reports on social media performance to the internal team and regularly make recommendations, updates, and improvements based on findings.
- Be in the know : Work with influencers to form a connection with them, write briefs, check content and analyse performance.
6-Month Accomplishments:
- Manage campaigns from end-to-end
- Begin to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders
- Cultivate a deeper understanding of our product, brand, and community
- Lead our Community Content program
- Own channel and community management for the @poshmarkau Instagram account
- Build relationships with influencers in an authentic way and own the process of monthly campaigns
12+ Month Accomplishments:
- Develop reports that communicate key learnings, performance metrics, and recommendations
- Deliver a significant increase in follower growth and engagement on select social channels
- Own, execute, and launch successful social media campaigns
- Identify opportunities and propose strategies for all things marketing (in app, social, influencer, events, community etc)
- Continued accomplishments from 6 months
Requirements:
- Ideally 2 year professional experience in social media management or a related marketing role for a brand
- BA degree ideally in marketing or communications
- A passion for the Fashion and Sustainability
- An understanding of Community based marketing
- Strong understanding of social media landscape including Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, youtube and other emerging platforms
- Experience with social publishing, listening and reporting tools: Sprinklr and native social platform analytics tools
- Basic graphic design skills preferred i.e. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite a plus (Photoshop and Premiere Pro)
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to quickly grasp and represent the brand and tone of an organisation
- Has an entrepreneurial mindset and is a great problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast paced environment.
