As we are growing and scaling as a company, we are looking for a People Ops Business Partner (HRBP) that has a deep sense of empathy and understanding for the needs of diverse groups of people. By partnering with the teams at all levels, you will help envision, develop, and execute people strategies that support their growth, performance, and future objectives. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills, adept interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational skills. We’re looking for an HRBP that is driven to improve HR initiatives, promote diversity, enhance team morale, exemplify good HR practices, and retain our talented team. This role will support our Technology organization (Engineering, Product, Security, etc) and will report to the VP of People Operations.

Responsibilities:

    • Be a trusted advisor to managers and individual contributors, helping build engaged, inclusive, high-performing teams.
    • Build and maintain relationships, as well as deliver appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and teammates. Mentor and support managers on employee development best practice to maximize team efficiencies and overall employee experience.
    • Roll up your sleeves to execute a full range of HR duties from high level strategy to program design to problem solving.
    • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and implement thoughtful solutions.
    • Build a practice of using data to guide decision making and optimize organizational health.
    • Drive planning and implementation of company-wide HR initiatives.
    • Champion a diverse workforce.
    • Partner effectively with other cross-functional teams such as Talent, Finance, Comms, and Executive teams.

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of HR experience, 2+ or more as an HRBP.
    • Ability to establish relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong coaching, conflict resolution, relationship and team-building skills, and demonstrated the ability to influence.
    • You have a passion for and work to increase diversity & representation in Tech.
    • You are curious and collaborative. You’re an avid learner, praised by others for your drive to ask exceptional questions.
    • You bring levity to decompress tense situations, are persistent in getting to the root of problems (and build solutions that solve them).
    • High attention to detail, well organized; an ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and build scaling programs in an ambiguous, fast-paced, high-growth startup.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to coach, influence, and partner with various levels of employees.
    • Strong competency within the HR function, including demonstration of experience across multiple functions such as Employee Relations, talent management, compliance, communications, and change management.
