Baseline Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student

Software Testing Technical EngineerThe Software Testing Technical Engineer intern will assist the Global Learning Services organization in testing courses (and may build some courses) for the Siemens Software products, including software related to Product Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Manufacturing. The intern should be excited about technology application, collaborate well, be organized and detail-oriented as well as self-motivated, goal-oriented and possess good interpersonal communication skills. The intern will champion projects that will:
  • Test existing courseware in new software versions
  • Update lab/activity documents
  • Update knowledge check questions
  • Build sequences of learning objects for compilation
  • Investigate new opportunities for learning in updated software
Organizational Requirements:
  • Has completed or currently enrolled in classes related to marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Major in Mechanical / Electrical / Computer / Aerospace / Manufacturing Engineering preferred
  • Strong, polished oral and written communications skills
  • Basic understanding and working experience with Microsoft Office tools
Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government. Recently The White House issued an Executive Order requiring most federal workers, contractors and subcontractors who do business with the government to get vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted an accommodation due to a disability or sincerely held religious belief or practice.
