About the Position

We are looking to hire an experienced ETF Sales Trader to make an immediate impact on the client-relations side of our growing institutional trading team. In this dynamic role, you’ll serve as a front-facing representative of Jane Street and a valued liaison between our sales and trading teams and institutional clients.

Every day, you’ll facilitate trade executions for clients, including the entire life cycle from pre- through post-trade. Additionally, you’ll contribute to daily client-facing tasks including collating market color, pre/post-trade analysis, and general sales calls to assist in building and maintaining relationships with clients, issuers, and other market participants.

About You

• 2-8 years of experience in sales trading covering buy-side clients or execution trading on the buy-side
• Demonstrated success in managing and building external relationships, particularly customer relationships
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and implement ideas in a fast-changing environment
• Motivated, competitive, and experienced teaching others and learning new techniques
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Attentive to detail, organized, and thorough, with desire for continuous improvements
• Experience covering a broad client base; institutional coverage a plus
• Fluency in English is a must
• Fluency in any of Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus
