Job Description

Spotify is seeking a Global Associate, Experiential & Content Production to join the Global Experiential & Content Production team. You will join our Public Affairs org and collaborate with Brand, Comms, Ads, and artist teams to execute creative, event, and content production needs for Spotify. The production team member we seek will build off-platform experiences and executions that connect creators, artists and/or brands with their fans globally. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop creative executions that amplify our platform and bring it to life in a physical or digital way. You'll support in building scalable solutions to maximize the success of these event and content executions and drive business. Working closely with partners across the organization and in-market teams, you will support the Global Senior Manager in the development, communication, and flawless execution of our global experiential and content strategy. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences audio. We are looking for an energetic self-starter and creative minded production associate who can build relationships across the organization. The candidate must be resourceful, organized and able to develop well-defined processes to enable effective executions. This position will report into the Global Senior Manager, Experiential & Content Production and is a full-time position, based in New York.

What you'll do

    • Coordinate with the production department leads to identify the level of support needed per tentpole event and content executions - supporting pre production planning and logistics, onsite execution, and post production reconciliation and content delivery.
    • Coordinate event logistics across our portfolio of experiences - from our biggest global tentpole events to regional events and content productions, and key Spotify-owned activations and branded productions. Responsibilities may include:
    • Catering / F&B orders
    • Travel and Entertainment bookings
    • Talent briefings, payments and contracts
    • Talent bookings and owning internal booking process
    • Onsite talent management
    • Liaison between department teams and, at times, partner clients
    • Scheduling meetings and executive briefings, driving communication across internal cross-functional teams and external production vendors
    • Develop and maintain project documentation including but not limited to status documents, invoice trackers, contact reports.
    • Build and lead a global calendar of production, detailing annual events, key milestones, and deadlines.
    • Work with key teams as production team’s POC to ensure creative assets and needs are being met and delivered from internal or external creative teams and getting necessary artist and brand approvals.
    • Reconcile program, department, production and event budgets; work closely with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure accurate budget tracking and payments including setting up suppliers and managing PO’s.
    • Support and lead smaller projects as needed.
    • Ability to produce smaller projects (ie. branded dinners with an artist performance) on own with limited mentorship and support.
    • Coordinate and produce team offsites and holiday gifting.
    • Keep the team encouraged and up to date on the latest news and updates within the media / production industry and share updates on the competitor landscape.
    • Successful coordinate and execute smaller executions with mentorship from your manager or other senior members of the team
    • Own key works streams optimally and seamlessly for larger productions as part of the core team

Who you are

    • You have a BA or an equivalent degree
    • You have 3 years of experience in the brand / agency / media world in a similar B2B or consumer production or marketing role
    • You have an understanding of the media landscape within the US and/or global markets
    • You know how to work autonomously as part of a small nimble team, and cross-functionally with different departments, both locally and internationally
    • You are a highly organized, focused multi-tasker with strong attention to detail
    • You have the ability to manage and adhere to a budget, as well as negotiate vendor rates
    • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbally
    • Proficient English required
    • Impeccable Google Suite skills (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms), Powerpoint, Keynote, Excel
    • You like to travel and are committed to working in a flexible manner (sometimes outside of typical working hours when on-site) to ensure your remit is delivered to the best of your ability.
