The Role

As a Strategy Program Manager in Ireland you will own the strategy and execution of country initiatives. Deliveroo launched in Ireland in 2016. You will work closely with the Regional Director to ensuring that we continue to defend our position, grow in this market and also grow the market! You will be responsible for identifying areas to improve our customer value proposition on a hyperlocal level, building plans and then executing on these plans to achieve these improvements. The Strategy Program Manager in Ireland will create the playbook for how to thrive and grow in the market in both the medium and long-term.

  • Managing stakeholders effectively to build consensus and momentum around regional initiatives, building effective relationships across both local and central teams
  • Identifying and developing scalable frameworks and methodologies around initiatives

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 2-3 years of experience in Consulting or a strategy-related function and wants to get closer to the business and take on executional responsibilities
  • Has a deep desire to solve real world problems, who sees the beauty of data and structure and how important these are to understanding a problem and identifying effective solutions
  • Can prioritise effectively as well as lead multiple project workstreams concurrently and independently
  • Is adept at conducting 80/20 analysis, drawing out business insights from that analysis and presenting findings and recommendations persuasively

Requirements

  • Experience working as a business analyst/associate (or equivalent) in a top-tier consultancy or in the strategy function of a top-tier corporate
  • Strong business acumen with ability to simplify complex problems
  • Self-starter, hard worker and well organised
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Solid Excel and modelling skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Helpful: relevant domain expertise, for example growth startups, online marketplaces or hyperlocal businesses.
