Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, BXP

Job Description

The Buyer Experience (BXP) Team has made it our mission to build a streamlined experience for our customers to discover the right plan and eventually grow to our enterprise offering.

We achieve this by working closely with our Product Manager, Product Designer and Data Analyst to craft experiences, validate them through user research, then ship, measure, and iterate.

Our mission puts us in a unique position to work across many areas of the CircleCI application, platform, and other initiatives and collaborate with various teams across the organization.

What you'll do:

• Help decide what our team will be working on by brainstorming with our Product Manager, Product Designer and Data Analyst.
• Help refine the practices and processes that make our team effective!
• Deliver high exposure projects and tasks, and are keen to have a direct impact on our business.
• Collaborate with your engineering teammates through planning, pairing, testing, reviewing and delivery of the features that you build.
• Write code that’s easily readable, testable, and maintainable, with an eye towards baking in observability from the beginning. Our tech stack includes Typescript/React, Go, and Clojure (if you don't know these, we will help you learn!).
• Participate in our on-call rotation to help our customers when they need it most.

• We practice continuous delivery to a production environment. Knowing how to balance delivering value to our customers and operating with an approach of fast, incremental delivery.
• Ability to work across the full stack and are willing to adjust as our scope expands. We spend the majority of our time on the frontend, but as we grow our domain, we expect it to become more balanced.
• Embracing ambiguity and resourceful in seeking solutions to problems that arise from change. Resolving the ambiguity by adjusting to changing priorities, making conscious trade offs, and implementing methodologies from scratch when needed.

Colorado Salary Range: $128,000 - $160,000/year
