Ubisoft Future Games of London is a Ubisoft studio that designs, develops and operates free-to-play mobile and digital console games. Founded in September 2009, Ubisoft FGOL create original and unique games such as the Hungry Shark series which has been enjoyed by over half a billion people worldwide.

We are a dedicated team with drive, passion and creativity, who enjoy being part of a forward thinking studio in an exciting and ever-evolving industry.

Over the next 5 years, we expect to be typically developing two to three projects in parallel, with regularly scheduled new releases added to our catalogue.

Job Description

The studio is looking for a passionate and talented Animator to add to our growing team. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in small teams, contributing ideas and having a certain amount of creative autonomy.

We are offering a full-time position in London, and we are looking to fill this vacancy as soon as possible. EU based applicants only please.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rig and Animate a variety of non-realistic characters
• Work with other departments to get the characters functional in-game
• Work with the project Lead Artist to define the visual identity of the game
• Try to maintain good quality control
• Follow best practices and standards for mobile game production

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements:

• A large amount of production experience is not necessary, just some, working in a team. Enthusiasm for the craft is more important
• Proven proficiency in a 3D application. 3DS Max, Maya or Blender preferred
• A portfolio that demonstrates character animation and rigging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to manage your time properly
