We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Technical Program Manager with experience in FPGA (or ASIC) software tools development and management. In this role, you will support an industry-leading, world-class Software development organization that is engaged in high performance and ease of use solutions using cutting-edge programming technology. To be successful, you must have prior experience with FPGA or ASIC software tools. A good understanding of all the phases of software development life cycle from software architecture, design verification, tapeout, silicon validation to SW stacks is necessary. You should be a self-starter with excellent project planning and management skills in the areas of work estimation, schedule planning, and milestone tracking using dashboards and metrics. Strong judgment is expected in assessing and managing risks and key dependencies. You must have excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, energize and drive teams.
A knowledge of related areas like Silicon Technology, Package, Signal/Power Integrity and Test & Measurement, etc. is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be required to do hands-on work and coordination of all end to end project deliverables for many of our software tool products. This is a high visibility and demanding scope spanning across multiple SW teams and organizations within the company. You will have to work closely with the broader program management team members in different geographies. You will be responsible for tracking program milestones, setting up and managing key performance indicators and delivering goals to target. Additionally, you will have to identify and drive both strategic and tactical issues, technical or otherwise, to resolution, understand the impact of the issues on the overall program, and make some independent decisions for the right trade-offs.
You will be expected to have the ability to implement program management methodologies and work very well in a team setting. Ability to influence positively and build relationships across cross functional organizations is necessary.
