Sales Onboarding Program Manager (Remote Eligible, West Coast)

Job Description

The Sales Onboarding Program Manager will play a key role in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of Sales Onboarding for Smartsheet's sales teams. You will work closely with the Manager of Global Field Onboarding and Sales Leadership to support business goals and guide growth through increased productivity for new sales reps. You will be the liaison between the new hires, their managers, and other partners to ensure success in their assigned job responsibilities over the course of their first 90 days.

You will report to our Manager of Global Field Onboarding located in our Boston, MA office.

You Will:

• Understand the goals of a new sales rep and translate those needs through the onboarding process
• Assist in taking a blended-learning approach to include classroom, self paced, event-based training, and new technologies to help scale global onboarding
• Oversee development of internal onboarding training repository for both instructor led and self directed training
• Implement and track metrics and indicators to ensure new hire performance thresholds are tracked and achieved
• Research and implement technology and best practices to improve our trainee's experience
• Observe sales teams to ensure that the training content for new hires aligns with current sales process and techniques

You Have:

• 5+ years within SaaS industry, sales experience and in a sales enablement, training or coaching role
• The skills to identify potential gaps and growth opportunities for onboarding reps
• The ability to manage teams/projects in multiple locations
• The ability to perform a situational analysis to form opinion or solutions
• Excellent project management skills with an opportunity to grow in a training and enablement role
