We are looking for an Engineer, at any stage in their career, to join a first-class Technical Support Team at Siemens Digital Industries HQ in Manchester, with flexible working opportunities. Our Technical Support Team aids customers in Great Britain and Ireland with our world class range of Totally Integrated Automation and Industrial Control products. See our flexibility culture here.Change the future with us.As an Automation Specialist, the position provides involves a unique mix of technical and customer activities:-• Developing & delivering presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to customers to support DI Sales growth.• On-site & office based support for key UK customers & partners, conveying capability and technical solution feasibility of our Industrial Controls products.• Supporting the DI Sales Teams, Product Management and Business Development Managers define and implement sales strategies.• Liaison with colleagues in Germany, improving product knowledge, and providing customer feedback into the development process• Second tier technical escalation support to our Manchester Support Hub What you need to make real what matters.• Qualified to NVQ / HND / HNC / Degree level in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a relevant Automation discipline.• A good understanding of ICT.• Excellent interpersonal skills• A team player with the ability to work effectively under time pressure.• Experience of Siemens Industrial Automation and Control Products (i.e. SIRIUS | Industrial controls | Siemens United Kingdom).We’ve got quite a lot to offer.
