About the Role

Envoy is building the workplace platform. It is the foundation of not only its own products but also that of integrations with other software and hardware used in a workplace. Our focus is on integrations that help improve communication, security, safety, efficiency, etc, at a workplace, and expand the Envoy ecosystem. As a senior frontend engineer, you will lead a team of engineers to build delightful integrations with modern technologies.

You Will

• Lead a full-stack team of both frontend and backend engineers
• Design and build flagship integrations such as those with Slack and Google Calendar, using React and Node and interacting with Envoy public APIs as well as other public APIs
• Build SDKs in different languages for external developers
• Collaborate closely with the Product and Design team
• Provide feedback to Developer Platform on how to improve its APIs
• Offer best engineering practices in building high-quality workplace integrations
• Triage bugs and ship stable, high quality code to which you are proud to be a contributor.

You Have

• BS / MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Strong interest in working at a startup
• 5+ years of experience in software development and experience in leading a team
• Knowledge of both frontend and backend systems and how to architect an application
• Understanding of any modern JavaScript library and framework (React, Angular, Ember.js, Vue.js, Node.js, etc) and service frameworks such as REST and GraphQL
• A sense of humor
