Job Description

Communication between vehicles as well as with road infrastructure components is an important technology to enable automated driving. Our ambition is to shape 3GPP standardisation with our application and technolgy expertise.

• you represent Bosch's interests as a delegate in 3GPP Working Group SA2 for 5G Advanced and future 6G topics
• you derive requirements for different use cases as automated driving and develop new system architectures and key technical building blocks
• you contribute with your expertise to national and European research projects and build the bridge to standardization activities
• you follow the current state of research, observe technological developments on the market and derive ideas

Qualifications

• Education: successfully completed University degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer science (preferably with a relevant PhD) or similar
• Personality: open-mindedness and enjoyment of working in a team, high level of commitment and initiative as well as a competent and obliging appearance
• Experience and Knowledge: experience in standardization is essential, preferably in 3GPP
• Qualifications: very good knowledge in the area of 5G communication, system architecture and the different OSI-Layers
• Languages: fluent English and basic German
