Guild is hiring a Senior Director of Business Technology Applications . This role will assist the VP of IT in providing strategic recommendations, innovative solutions, operational efficiency, and support for Guild’s key Business Technology Applications stack. You will be directly responsible for growing and leading a team of application experts, consultants, architects, developers, and analysts. You’ll work closely with other business units and teams to build and support scalable technology solutions and processes that empower Guild to unlock opportunity for America’s workforce.

As Senior Director of Business Technology Applications you will:

  • Oversee the Commercial Business Applications and Finance Business Applications teams to include SFDC B2B, contract management, procure to pay, NetSuite, Adaptive, Stripe, and master data management
  • Provide transparent delivery utilizing agile delivery methodology, project reporting, and resource allocation & prioritization
  • Build scalable processes and partner with cross-functional business units across Guild to define process enhancements & improvements
  • Be responsible for Order to Cash, Master Data Management, and other ERP verticals. Partner with domain and technology leaders to define strategy, vision, and roadmaps
  • Provide innovative solutions to meet current needs and to anticipate future needs
  • Deliver a long term strategic plan to include setting OKRs for the Commercial & Finance Business Applications teams and leaders and defining goals and expectations for the department to ensure Business Technology meets its mission
  • Growing and leading a team of talented engineers and managers including career planning, performance management, and exceptional coaching
  • Ensure operational excellence in key processes, drive automation initiatives, and define & report on metrics-driven towards measuring operational improvements
  • Optimize and manage the overall Business Technology Applications budget
  • Ensure policies and controls are well defined, documented, and communicated and compliance requirements are met

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Deep understanding of SaaS business processes and applications, especially SFDC & NetSuite
  • Experience building teams and processes from the ground up and managing large teams with multiple functions and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated capabilities managing complex projects and initiatives across an organization
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment and have a proven ability to grow Business Technology applications and solutions as a scalable, performant business partner
  • Passion for creating a strategic vision and plan that supports company strategy and growth
  • Ability to influence and get buy-in from cross-functional leaders
  • Applicable knowledge and understanding of audit controls, compliance, and testing
  • Tracked operational metrics and measured success against those metrics
  • A knack for identifying gaps and an innate ability to define future direction
  • Have a strong desire to innovate and automate processes and technology
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology, CD/CI, and DevOps

  • Understand technical domains and provide architectural oversight to ensure future scalability and flexibility
  • Experience managing hybrid teams
  • Budget management and optimizing Business Technology spend
  • Ability to adjust your approach to best support the business. Each team and each request will be unique
  • Experience with audit and compliance (SOC 1 & 2, SOX, and PCI)

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $200,000-$230,000 as well as company stock options.
