Eventbrite is looking for a Product Designer to work on our event distribution team to build a world class event distribution platform that helps distribute events across social media and the web. THE TEAM Design is a core part of our DNA at Eventbrite. We are on a mission to build the best self-service user experience in events, and with the best design team in the industry. THE ROLE Eventbrite Creators rely on us to not only help them create a successful event, but to help market their events and sell more tickets. One way we do this is through making it easy for creators to automatically publish their events across the web. As a Product Designer, you’ll be collaborating with your PM and Engineering partners to design a seamless experience while always keeping the focus on the user. HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT Partner with Product, Engineering, and your design counterparts to build a best in class event distribution platform. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure cohesiveness of user experiences in relation to other parts of the product and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure alignment Demonstrate proficiency of UI/UX, prototyping, visual design, and research synthesis You’re a good communicator who breaks down complex business problems and defines new concepts You clarify storytelling using qual, quant, and industry knowledge.
THE SKILL SET
- 2+ years of professional Product Design experience at similar or larger size companies.
- Strong portfolio showcasing real live work and your design process as well as impact.
- A user-centered approach to designing software and services for people
- Experience facilitating discussions and exercises with cross functional teams.
- Good communication skills, including prior experience communicating design rationale to your team.
BONUS POINTS
- Prior experience designing for marketing tools
- Previously worked in environments that leverage data to inform design decisions
- Deep understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- You are an event creator and understand the lifecycle of creating and managing events
