What you’ll be doing...

Working on suite of applications geared to support customers with self-service, billing and reporting features of wireless Verizon products andservices on My Business portal.

• Enterprise application design, development for high-scale and availability.
• Developing responsive web applications and integratingwith internal and third-party APIs.
• Rapid development of prototypes, pilots, and full-scale applications.
• Participating in requirements review meetings and perform requirement analysis.
• Handling change requests/support on a daily basis.
• Improving performance of the application on an ongoing basis.
• Partnering with QA team to address identified defects on time.
• Participating in post-implementation issues and performance reviews.
• Guiding the team on new implementations within the specified tech stack.
• Reducing the MTTR on alngl prod issues and reducing CMDs.

Where you’ll be working:

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Java/ J2EE, Oracle Coherence/Redis cache, Tomcat, WebLogic, iPlanet, ELK stack, New Relic, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, IBM MQs, Rabbit MQs.
• Designing and coding experience in ExtJs / React JS / Angular.
• Experience with and knowledge of agile software delivery methodologies.
• Experience developing and optimizing server architectures.
• Knowledge of and experience with SRE practice, DevOps, and automation.
• Experience working in database, proficiency in back-ends like Oracle, with knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL.
• Experience working on digital platforms.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A Master’s degree.
• Experience with building responsive web applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ExtJs/Angular/React and looker platform.
• Knowledge of application security.
• Experience with RPA and bots.
• Certifications in SRE, Cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile.
• Understanding of Cloud concepts, DevOps tools, and techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to translate business needs into technical terms.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and meet critical deadlines.
