Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Desktop Engineering to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of roadmaps and participate in the standards process for Hardware and Office standards
  • Partner with Architecture teams to develop solution designs
  • Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends in the area of system engineering
  • Drive to deliver technology and products in the roadmap on schedule and with the highest quality
  • Provide advice, guidance and direction to carry out plans and procedures, ensuring schedule attainment, product development process adherence, performance and budget targets are met
  • Provide last tier support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative analysis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent and progressive experience with managing and supporting projects using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Deployment Technology (MDT/OSD), Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Win7/8/10), Mac OS in a large IT environment
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Virtualization (UPM/AppSense), Microsoft Bitlocker, Microsoft Office Suite (2013 O365), Browsers (IE,Chrome, Edge), Desktop Security (Carbon Black, SEP, DDPE, DLP), JAMF Pro (Casper), Active Directory/Group Policy, Analyzing tools (Perfmon, Procmon, Windows Performance tool kit)
  • Scripting technologies such as VBScript, PowerShell WMI Scripting and AutoIT Script, SQL
  • Proficient understanding of various infrastructure technologies such as WAN/LAN, TCIPIP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Windows Server operating systems
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority; Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work; Strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; Ability to participate in resource planning processes based on defined organizational plans
  • US Citizenship is required
