Within GR&S, the Enterprise Security and Fraud (ES&F) sub-division is responsible for the global protection of Vanguard crew, property, data, and client assets. Join the ES&F team as a Cloud Security Operations Analyst where you will implement, recommend, and manage mitigation and monitoring of internal and external threats to protect Vanguard's digital assets.

In this role, you will:

• Provide expert level cyber security services to prevent, detect, respond to, and remediate threats. Coordinate with external and internal resources to develop and deliver new security solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing cloud security controls to improve security posture, and research emerging threats relevant to cloud operations.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture and security knowledge. Create and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incident response triage.
• Assist with evaluation of new or replacement native and 3rd party cloud security solutions. Assist with automation of redundant processes. Develop and enhance existing security tools and capabilities.
• Provide incident response triage support to other Cyber Security Operations teams.
• Train and mentor more junior staff on processes and technologies. Delegate to and empower existing team.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

• Minimum of five years related work experience, with four years of Cyber Security experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer science, Management of Information Systems Security, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or other cloud specific certifications preferred.

Future of Work

During the pandemic, we transitioned to a work from home model for the majority of our crew and we continue to interview, hire, and on-board future crew remotely.
