We are looking for a Manager, Renewal Sales – APJ, reporting to the head of Renewal Sales – International. In this role, you will manage a team of Renewals Specialists and help establish processes, operational cadence, and the infrastructure necessary for the team to identify, process, and close renewal opportunities in line with key performance metrics. As a key leader in the region, you will be responsible for coordinating budgets, forecasts, and organizing and implementing sales strategies to achieve overall revenue objectives for APJ. You will partner closely with APJ Sales teams, Technical Support, channel partners, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and customers to ensure the highest levels of customer retention and satisfaction. What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of Renewals Sales Specialists in APJ
  • Be responsible for the timely generation, validation, auditing, and management of all aspects of the Infoblox maintenance renewal
  • Develop and implement scalable approach to sell multi-year renewals and co-term contracts
  • Effectively communicate and position Infoblox service programs within the partner community and installed base by acting as the services expert
  • Work closely with Finance and Legal teams to ensure contracts are accurate and compliant
  • Provide guidance and drive system, process enhancements, and metrics to measure and drive improvement of team efficiency and reporting capabilities
  • Contribute to the development of standard performance dashboards for the Renewals team using data captured through SFDC/CPQ and other operational systems and provide detailed reporting and metrics to management and the Sales team
  • Enforce strict SFDC hygiene policies that lead to accurate data and reporting
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to help remove obstacles and support goal achievement of the Renewals Sales team
  • Prepare and present quarterly analysis to senior management on APJ Renewals team activities related to bookings, partner efficacy, on-time performance, and process improvement

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience working in renewal sales or sales with operational responsibility and 3+ years of managing and developing people
  • Expert working knowledge of the service business, including co-termination, service terms, etc.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software revenue recognition rules is a must
  • Experience working within the service industry in a multi-tier channel environment (distribution)
  • Experience with communication and training channel partners on service program best practices
  • Proven ability to process business accurately yet efficiently under time-sensitive situations
  • Ability to tactfully close deals with a high degree of integrity
  • First-hand knowledge of best practices for service renewals, processes, and systems
  • Process orientation with the ability to build and manage a well-oiled sales machine while implementing a rigorous, measurable, and repeatable process
  • Hands-on experience with systems—SFDC, Oracle, Tableau preferred—expert knowledge of Microsoft product suite
  • Experience scaling an organization through rapid growth and transformation
