This position is a full lifecycle Recruiter and Talent Acquisition partner to the business with the key objective to meet headcount goals and implement recruitment strategies for aligned business units. Your ability to identify the highest quality candidates and guide hiring teams and candidates through the selection and interview process is a key indicator of success in the position.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Using analytics and market information to be a talent adviser to the hiring manager and business leaders.
  • Thorough and efficient capturing of candidate information and documentation within Viasat’s ATS.
  • Strategic sourcing efforts using the in-house ATS and external sources to include LinkedIn and job-boards.
  • Providing regular recruitment insights and trends using metrics to all pertinent stakeholders.
  • An ability to build relationships with key partners, hiring managers, and the wider TA and People and Culture teams.
  • Providing cross-functional recruiting coverage, as needed.
Requirements
  • 3+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or in supporting hiring efforts in-house (corporate)
  • Experience as a Recruiter hiring for both high volume and niche technical and non-technical roles.
  • Knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
  • Working knowledge of an applicant tracking system, preferably Avature

Preferences

  • Prior experience recruiting for roles within Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Operations or Manufacturing is preferred
  • Prior agency and / or technical industry experience
  • Prior experience supporting recruitment for domestic and international roles
  • Strong sourcing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
