This individual will play a key role in driving data analytics and innovation across Internal Audit and Risk Advisory, by bringing leading practice approaches in strategizing and maturing the data analytics capabilities. We are looking for a highly qualified professional with experience working with technology companies that are fast-paced, work in the cloud, and develop products that are used by millions of consumers globally. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a “system thinking” approach to risk management and problem solving and have an appreciation for the challenge of balancing between fast development and compliance requirements. You will work across our global organization to identify technology, business, financial reporting, and legal & regulatory risks and help manage the impact on the organization. You will participate in assurance and advisory projects within areas such as enterprise IT, data infrastructure, finance & operations, financial systems, revenue engineering, machine learning, security engineering, Spotify’s end user apps, and the internal technology platform. This position will report to the Director, Internal Audit Operations.

What you'll do:

    • Build and develop data analytics to identify and present insights and recommendations to business and technology stakeholders, through clear visualizations and data story-telling.
    • Solve complex problems and apply analytical skills in resolving data issues
    • Identify and drive opportunities to use complex data analytics to discover and demonstrate risk areas, risk drivers, and challenge current audit methodologies.
    • Design and build a data platform solution for assessing and monitoring risk using data.
    • Partner with Internal Audit & Risk Advisory teams to lead and support the execution of data analytics priorities and projects.
    • Upskill and enable Internal Audit & Risk Advisory team members through coaching, training, leading practice sharing, and performing quality assurance over solution development.

Who you are:

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in developing data analytics dashboards, generating insights, and presenting findings and output to business and technology stakeholders.
    • Experience with agile development methodologies, complex data sets, and data analytical languages and protocols such as SQL (BigQuery), Python, and Scala. Experience in Github is strongly preferred.
    • Experience with visualization and data analytics tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Qlik, or PowerBI.
    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, SaaS providers, and other cloud technology.
    • Demonstrated experience in project management practices, tooling, and leading multiple projects and tasks both independently and in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced multi-national environment
    • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills that allow interactions with team members and business partners.
    • Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science or equivalent education/experience.

Where you'll be:
