As a Marketing Product Owner, supporting Eaton's fast growing Energy Transition business (comprising its EVCI, energy storage and microgrid offerings), you will coordinate all content marketing requirements and be responsible for on-time delivery, quality, performance and management of product content, documentation and marketing assets through the content development team.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Market-oriented, ensuring all work is valuable to the customer and considering the buyer/seller journey frameworks at all times. Gathers input from all sources (customers, market research, product managers, Zone Sales Organisations, lead data stewards, peers, leadership). Translates business requirements into a content marketing and technical documentation Story Map and Product Backlog.
  • Messaging and Value-proposition: Work closely with the ET&D Marketing Director and Product Managers to ensure rigorous application of the value proposition process in development of content that is aligned to needs of well-defined buyer personas and groups across all stages of their customer lifecycle.
  • Leads and animates the Scrum team: The sole custodian of the Product Backlog for all content marketing and technical docs relevant to the Energy Transition business lines, ensures that all work items are prioritized, clearly expressed, actionable and up-to-date. Clears functional blockers raised within the Scrum team, supports with clarifying scope and value, crystalizing the roadmap and enabling the whole Scrum team to perform.
  • New Product Introduction: Key stakeholder in developing market launch plans and is accountable for all marketing LaunchBox assets. Works closely with Field and Segment marketing teams.
  • The position is responsible for the lifecycle of global prime product content, ensuring appropriate maintenance and performance by defining key metrics and reporting processes. They seek to continuously improve and identify trends that will support business objectives and efficiencies. They are responsible for representing their business lines on regional/global projects and reporting back to leadership.
Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:

  • 5+ year ́s experience in Offer marketing / Product Marketing.
  • Project management skills, Scrum practices (roles, events, artefacts, User Story Mapping, point estimation), working knowledge of Lean principles
  • Minimum bachelor level degree marketing or related field. Postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Highly organised, efficient communicator, team player with an analytical mindset
