PayPal is looking for an experienced Deal Desk Manager to help manage the end-to-end execution of complex deals, strategic RFPs, and streamlined approval processes. The position offers the opportunity to join a team focused on designing and executing process improvement initiatives that align sales efforts to global strategies.

Job Description:

The Deal Desk Manager will drive revenue by working cross-functionally in between sales, pricing, legal, underwriting, compliance, and other subject matter experts across EU markets , in an effort to shorten the cycle time for our sales team and leadership strategies. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the sales organization and support functions to facilitate complex deal processes
  • Manage the internal processes of our top deals and RFP pipeline, prioritizing strategic, high-value opportunities for the organization through a consultative and strategic approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across all areas of the business, from sales to regional leadership, to help elevate deal structuring
  • Leverage project management skills to facilitate and coordinate meetings, stakeholders, and internal workshops to develop key win themes aligned with our core business offering
  • Serve as an escalation point across stakeholders to identify friction points within sales processes and help move deals forward
  • Proactively manage strategic deal & RFP opportunity pipeline, potential deal challenge, and lead communication with sales leadership
  • Optimize and manage a continuous deal pipeline by ensuring sales follows deal desk guidelines
  • Drive deal acceleration through holistic reviews of segments, pro-actively review/vet deals in the sale pipeline
  • Manage and align goals for each stakeholder and conduct review processes
  • Create and maintain standard documentation and improve governance
  • Identify and present process improvement opportunities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for market processes, commercial enhancements, and process improvement opportunities to both sales and sales operations leadership
