We're looking for a UX Writing Team Lead to own and establish our UX writing across all our product interfaces. In other words... someone who can find the right words to transform any user journey from confusing to “Wow, I want to do that again.”

Our mission is to change the way the world works. And that starts with choosing the right words. For every screen, CTA, and tooltip. That’s where you come in.

What am I going to do?

• Setting up writing guidelines, training and overseeing all UX writing, from draft to launch
• Working on new product releases, naming, and user flows
• Collaborating and partnering with design, product managers, and UX researchers to get the right message across, at every touchpoint
• Managing and mentoring a team of talented UX writers
• Promoting strategies to improve workflow

• You don’t look at character limits as a limit to creativity
• You can conceptualize the big picture while being able to deliver detailed content design across a variety of user experiences, from onboarding to checkout

• You’re able to balance brand voice with user experience
• You know how to work with different stakeholders and maintain your sanity
• You apply the same skills of choosing the right words to hiring the right people
• You sweat the small stuff

Requirements

• 4+ years UX writing experience
• History of driving UX writing for leading tech companies
• Bonus if you have an impressive portfolio to share
• Native English speaker
