Job Summary

Program Overview: June 8th, 2022- Aug 17th, 2022 Comcast West Division’s Summer Internship Program is a 10-week summer internship program based out of a regional or division office within the West Division footprint. This internship program will live in a hybrid model: work from home and work from the office. The program is designed to identify high-caliber talent to build our organization with the best and the brightest students. In this role you will immerse yourself into the Comcast culture, working side by side with innovative and talented Comcasters. You will cultivate meaningful relationships and develop strong interpersonal and business skills that will set you apart from your peers.

Exposure: An inside look into the day-to-day operations of an organization at the cutting edge of media and technology.

About the Business Operations Team:

• The Business Operations team plays a critical role in defining and driving operational, organizational, and strategic improvements across the company.
• Our goal is to enable the company to scale operations to support our revenue and employee growth.
• We work closely with the executive leadership team to identify strategic and operational challenges across the company.

• Individuals with a strong passion for learning new skills and techniques
• Ability to present in front of a wide range of audiences
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to tell compelling stories and explain complex issues in simple ways.
• Advance Excel skills. SQL and Tableau development experience is a plus.

What will you be working on as a Sales Operations Analyst Intern:

• Provide sales performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting to all levels within the organization in support of functional business objectives.
• Examples are:
  • Subscriber Actual and Forecast
  • Weekly Sales Channel Activity
  • Weekly Key Performance Indicator Benchmarking
  • Sales Funnel
  • Incentive
• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to define, launch, and drive strategic and operational initiatives via ad-hoc analyses, financial modeling of proposed operational programs and business cases to assess the financial viability and associated risks, and develop recommended actions.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements

• Graduation date between December 2022 and May 2023
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
• Authorized to work in the United States of America
• Strong interest in the technology, telecommunications, cable, and media industries
• Ability to work independently and in group settings
• Minimum 3.2 GPA
• Ability to report to assigned office post-graduation if offered and accepted a fulltime position
• Must have internet access to perform work virtually
• Must reside or attend school near the host office

Salary:

Base Pay: $29.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
