Job Description

The Vimeo Solutions team is dedicated to ensuring our users are getting the most out of Vimeo’s Enterprise offerings by providing a seamless and efficient implementation experience across platforms. In this role, you will work with the Branded Apps team that is dedicated to building and maintaining our portfolio of thousands of client apps across platforms.. Your role will be an important part in supporting our clients to efficiently launch their services and start providing value to users, and their business, as soon as possible. We build and maintain the following apps: iOS, tvOS, Android, Android TV, Roku, XBOX One, and Samsung TV.

In this role, you will work across product and engineering teams, Implementation and Account Management teams, and within the major app stores to ensure that client apps are configured correctly and delivered to users in a timely manner. You will be responsible for seamlessly executing through the entire app lifecycle - constantly working with colleagues across Solutions to validate and execute changes to client apps more efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical environments in addition to a desire to take on cross-functional project management responsibilities for a diverse and global team.

What you’ll do:

• Perform initial app setup, configuration, and quality checks for mobile and TV apps across Apple, Google, Samsung, Roku, and Microsoft platforms at all stages of development
• Validate the requirements for new Vimeo OTT apps or changes to existing apps and provide actionable feedback
• Continually develop our processes for app setup and maintenance as our needs change overtime
• Take code from development teams and generate app builds using command line tools
• Cultivate expertise in the various configuration options available for our applications to become first line of defense for escalations from customer facing teams
• Liaise with internal teams such as international counterparts, product, and engineering to ensure seamless development and submission of apps
• Manage the scheduling and timelines of app-related work while helping to establish regular schedules to be shared across internal stakeholders
• Own relevant sections of documentation for internal knowledge sharing and training
• Assist with uploads and submissions as part of routine Vimeo OTT app maintenance
• Constantly provide feedback on ways we can refine workflow steps to decrease the time to value to deliver apps to clients and users

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• Extremely detail oriented and quick to adapt to evolving internal processes, platform changes, and development workflows
• Experience working in a technical environment and an ability to process and reliably communicate (both written and verbal!) complex issues to everyone from engineers to enterprise clients
• Cool as a cucumber under pressure

Bonus points (nice skills to have, but not needed):

• Solutions, operations and product mindset - either background or interest in project management, product management or similar roles requiring a balance of operational and critical thinking
• Previous experience with technical project management platforms like Jira, Airtable or Salesforce
• Exposure to tools such as Github, Dropbox, and Fastlane
• Experience working with various app platforms
