As a Master Data Management Specialist - Marketing, you will be responsible for making sure all the master data for the item creation process is gathered in due time and that receiving systems are properly configured. In addition, you will ensure that the subsequent publication to consuming systems is executed in a timely and consistent manner.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support NPD process to ensure Eaton’s taxonomy and ICCs can support the product’s technical specifications (internal)
  • Support NPD process to ensure industrial classification taxonomy is updated / ready for the new products (external)
  • Support product managers when mapping technical data to other data standards like ETIM, ETIM MC, BIM, eCl@ss, eCl@ss Advanced,..
  • Manage mCAD and eCAD models creation by providing relevant product information to the 3rd party partner
  • Ensure other departments providing additional data are aligned with the item creation and maintenance process (engineering, manufacturing, pricing, EHSM, SCOE, legal and compliance,...)
  • Engage in every phase of the NPI process to ensure data collection and delivery at the various Gate reviews
  • Prepare reporting on NPI data status for the review meetings
  • Prioritize the data admin workload depending on priorities defined by the Lead Data Stewards
  • Build and maintain translation memory with division reviewer
  • Escalation point for the Support Data Admins when facing E2E product data flow issues
  • Enable, coordinate and trigger maintenance of product data in systems where automated connection/interface does not exist (PLM, configurators, 3rd party (CAD data),...)

Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:

  • Minimum bachelor level degree with postgraduate qualification in marketing or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing-related data management, analysis, new product initiation
  • Experience with Production Information Management (PIM) tools (such as PDH) and syndication engines (such as P360) preferred
  • Knowledge of Data models such as ETIM, GS1, EHSM, BIM, eCl@ss would be preferred
  • SAP experience would be preferred
  • Experience ing Data Management and high degree of Data Literacy
  • Fluency in English required, with German or French knowledge being an asset
