Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Analyst, National Provider Partnerships to join our Market P&L team.

About the role:

In this role, you are accountable for managing the relationships and solving operational issues for a group of national ancillary provider partners, and daily project management and process improvement.

You will report to the National Ancillary Provider Strategy & Contracting Associate. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the relationships with essential ancillary provider partners, being the face of Oscar
  • Resolve operational issues affecting provider partners such as claims, utilization management and network adequacy, driving resolution and looping in Oscar experts
  • Develop a deep understanding of insurance operations and processes and how they impact our provider partners
  • Develop deep expertise in the clinical categories in which your provider partners operate, including understanding market dynamics, reimbursement strategies.
  • Understand the goals and needs of our partners to help inform our strategic perspectives, contracting decisions, and performance improvement opportunities
  • Partner with our teams such as Strategy, Contracting, Insurance Operations, Finance, Analytics, Value Capture, Care Management, Government Affairs, Product, Concierge, and other regional teams to increase results for essential strategic initiatives involving your partners
  • Oversee short-term and long-term partner performance against targets and regularly report findings out to Oscar stakeholders
  • Help implement improvement opportunities to further develop and scale provider partner operations
  • Identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary costs Or improve member experience through partner initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience
  • 1+ years of work experience in a client-facing or account management role
  • Relating and networking
  • Present and communicate information

Bonus points:

  • Experience in the health insurance, healthcare provider, or related field
  • Proficiency in data analysis
  • Experience improving processes and workflows
