Application Developer- W2 Temporary Position

Job Description

Avanade ASR seeks Application Developers in Chicago, IL, to design, deploy, and test application components of medium size and complexity built on the Microsoft technology stack. You will: analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain application code in a variety of contexts; use Service-Oriented Architecture to develop applications on Microsoft platforms including .NET Framework, .Net Core, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, NUnit, Jenkins, Agile Team Practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD); define technical, operational, and user requirements; develop and implement appropriate quality controls and testing procedures; partner with cross-functional technology teams to integrate solutions and requirements strategies; and perform basic support and debugging, as well as maintain and repair existing applications. Travel is required to client site. This is a short-term engagement, estimated end date January 17, 2023.

Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field , plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in a similar role in an IT consulting capacity . A qualified applicant’s experience must include: 2 years of experience developing applications using full-stack Microsoft platforms, including .NET Framework, C# , Microsoft SQL Server, 3 years of experience developing, analyzing, and performing optimization of code; 2 years of experience utilizing Service Oriented Architecture to design applications on the Microsoft Platform; and, 3 years of experience communicating and presenting information to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You must be Green Card/Permanent Resident for past 7 years/US Citizenship and pass a rigorous background check - good credit, no outstanding loans on their property, no felons, no convictions (similar to Government Security Clearance).

Pay range = $60-69/hour
