Description
The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for an Air Force Evaluations Administrator within the HQ 16th Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, TX. This position is part of a large program supporting Air Combat Command’s (ACC) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must already possess a TS/SCI in order to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
The candidate will review and quality control check Air Force Officer and Enlisted Evaluations and identify and correct discrepancies IAW 16th Air Force Command Staff and Air Force Instruction guidance. The candidate will also develop, manage, and maintain staff tasking databases and pertinent tracking systems. They will train staff action officers in the evaluation management process and procedures. Recommend workflow and evaluation management process improvements throughout the Staff, Wings, and Centers. Continuously provide updates on evaluation status to 16 AF/A1. Further, the candidate will provide staff support to and assist the customer’s executive staff and directly advise directors, commanders, and senior leadership with executing evaluation responsibilities. Additionally, the candidate will maintain open communications with the 16th Air Force hierarchy/leadership, to include direct communication with the 16 AF/CC, 16 AF/CV, and 16 AF/DCOM. Continue lateral communication with subordinate directorates and units in concert with 16 AF procedures and provide HQ staff guidance as required.
Additional responsibilities include: Manage and assist customer leadership and staff to coordinate activities with subordinate units to help resolve issues, and ensure proper development, implementation, and execution of policy and programs. Review and guide senior-level correspondence, and respond to internal and external tasking, including identifying discrepancies and ensuring documentation is sufficient for decision making. Research and analyze disparate data, identify potential concerns or issues, and facilitate recommended decisions, estimates, and courses of action to Staff and A1 leadership.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of leadership experience in Air Force Military Human Resource Management
5+ years of experience as Squadron-level or above evaluation program manager
2+ years of experience with managing or responding to formal tasking from senior leadership or HHQ
Extensive experience with the Air Force Virtual Processing Center (vPC) and Air Force Officer/Enlisted evaluations program.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to think logically and act decisively in critical situations with minimal oversight and supervision,
leveraging problem-solving techniques
Ability to operate independently or as part of a small team
Active TS/SCI clearance
AA or AS degree
Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of Air Force ISR or Cyberspace policy directives and guidance
BA or BS degree preferred
