Job Description

We are offering several Internship (12 month) positions within our software engineering teams based at our headquarters in the centre of Manchester. This will provide a great opportunity to work with each of our multiple teams covering Front End, Back End, Full Stack and Cloud Infrastructure development.

How it works: You bring the talent and we’ll provide the mentoring, training and support you need to become an accomplished software professional!

What you’ll be doing:

• Work on features for our cloud based systems, aimed at the automotive sector, within one of our cross functional agile teams.
• Contribute to software architecture and design discussion driving our product roadmap
• You will be supported by the rest of the team as you grow your knowledge in our tech stack
• Working with a modern tech stack:
  • Backend: Java EE APIs, JAX_RS
  • Frontend: JavaScript, TypeScript, Single Page Frameworks (e.g Angular, AngularJS, React), LeSS, HTML5, JSON, XML
  • Cloud: AWS, Infrastructure as Code

Qualifications

• You will have a passion for technology and a keenness to learn and grow.
• You will have good programming skills and be excited by problem solving, demonstrated perhaps in a project at university, open source community or personal.
• You will be working towards a good degree in a Software engineering or another relevant discipline.

We would like you to start in Summer 2022 for a 12 month internship.

* This position is open to undergraduates who are required to partake in a work placement as part of their degree course. Before applying for this vacancy, you must inform your Faculty/School Placement Officer. If your Faculty/School does not have a Placement Officer, you must inform your Course Tutor.
