Our Lockheed Martin Space Finance & Business Operations is seeking a team member in the Financial Accounting organization supporting the monthly close and consolidation process and technical accounting tasks as needed.
In this role you will:
• Preparation and review of the monthly Accounting Trial Balance for several entities
• Present on the monthly results to the Controllership organization
• Be a point of contact for our external auditors
• Provide monthly and quarterly flux analysis in support of the month end close, and other corporate reporting duties.
Additional tasks may include participating in corporate accounting initiatives on an ad hoc basis.
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with peers, management, and the corporate accounting organization.

Basic Qualifications:
• Accounting, Finance or related degree.
• Able to develop relationships and work effectively with others in different locations.
• Must be able to adjust work schedule as necessary to ensure critical financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Must meet minimum qualifications for a Top Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Desired Skills:
CPA or CPA candidate with prior accounting or audit experience preferred.
