The Inside Sales Demand Account Manager focuses on educating customers on a wide array of Philips Respironics products and services that can enhance their business success. The Inside Sales Demand Account Manager develops and presents business solutions while maintaining ongoing relationships with key decision-makers. Position has the responsibility for a defined territory within North America.

You are responsible for

  • Meet or exceed quarterly quotas as provided by your manager.
  • Direct field Account Managers and Sales Specialists within their assigned geography.
  • Represent and promote the full line of company product offerings contained in the Sleep and Home Respiratory Division to defined territories and customers within a geographic region.
  • Make sales calls, ask for orders, work with customers to expand business opportunities, ensure products are properly presented and that customers are aware of product changes, new releases, etc.
  • Work with internal business partners on price quotes, shipping, resolving order problems, etc.
  • Maintain Salesforce.com records of territory, customer order potential, status of sales in progress and provide feedback to management on a regular basis.
  • Regularly call on assigned customers to promote and sell therapeutic products through power messaging, consultative selling and strategic negotiation.
  • Enter sales orders into SAP system.

You are a part of

Philips Respironics, we work in concert with care providers to support a patient-centered and coordinated sleep and respiratory disease management approach. When initiated in the hospital and used consistently across the entire patient care journey, our solutions can help with patient compliance in the home and may contribute to fewer hospital readmissions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BS/BA level degree in a discipline related to sales, marketing, general
    business, or clinical studies or certifications that are tied to the core market segments of the company, preferred 3+ years of either professional inside or field sales experience. Position requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • 3+ years of Sleep Diagnostic experience preferred.
  • Must possess a demonstrated ability to use office equipment including telephone, fax, scanners, copiers, etc. Strong computer skills with practical experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel preferred, Medical and SAP experience is a plus.
  • Consultative selling skills, required.
  • This position is primarily a sedentary position that requires use of standard office equipment in order to perform the essential functions of the job. This would include but not be limited to phone systems, personal computer, copiers, fax machines etc.
  • Must be able to travel to field visits and regional meetings; when requested. Maybe required to drive to locations. Interest and ability to grow into other sales roles.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. Candidates need to live within the territory or within commuting distance to Murrysville, PA.
