Quizlet offers an exciting 2022 Summer Internship Program from either June 6th - August 12th or June 27th - September 2nd. Our program is a 10-week paid internship that focuses on enabling students to advance their professional preparation through work experience, professional development, and mentorship. We have a fun summer planned for you with several events and workshops. You will work on real projects, features, and updates that will contribute to Quizlet and impact our 50 million+ users. While Quizlet has offices in San Francisco, CA, Denver CO, and NYC, our internship program will be fully remote. About the Brand Studio Team: Quizlet is seeking an eager graphic design intern to join our Brand Studio team. At Quizlet, we believe good design is fundamental to crafting a timeless brand, and we’re passionate about building delightful visual experiences that show up for our students. As a member of the Brand Studio team, you will be designing work that touches all corners of the company, from crafting icons for the Quizlet app to creating tools that build the framework of our core visual systems. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for creative problem solving and education. *Link to personal website or portfolio is required for application to be considered.

In this internship, you will:

• Create beautiful, eye-catching digital creative to be used in landing pages, presentations, product, email comms, and social media
• Research and design a new campaign in your own solo internship project, with ongoing guidance from the Brand Studio team throughout
• Illustrate icons to be used in a product, email, decks, and more
• Learn how to build scalable visual systems
• Work cross-functionally with marketing leaders, product designers, and engineering teams to produce inspiring brand campaigns

The ideal candidate will have:

• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of typography, layout, and color
• Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• A passion for education and learning tools
• Ability to clearly communicate and synthesize ideas. Comfortable with presenting your work and giving/receiving constructive feedback
• Be an enthusiastic team player excited about pushing boundaries
• Currently use (and love) Quizlet!
• Rising Senior or Senior status (preferred)

Bonus points if you have:

• Motion graphics experience
• Experience working within brand guidelines

Compensation:

• Colorado candidates: Base pay for this role starts at $20 per hour. The actual pay may be higher depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
