We are seeking a sales leader with a track record of building and growing SaaS/Software revenues in the enterprise software space to develop and drive a team of Mid- Market Sales Professionals across the Europe with specific focus in the UK, DACH and
Southern Europe. A successful track record of leading and mentoring a team of Mid-Market sales professionals is important, as is keeping a constant eye on developing candidate pipeline to support the growth of the team.

This is a key appointment within the organisation as Sumo readies itself to accelerate business through FY23. The role is exciting and Dynamic, the successful candidate will be responsible for all EMEA revenue derived from Sumo targeted businesses of less than 1000 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the Mid-Market sales team
  • Work closely with available resources in the pursuit of revenue (SE’s, Marketing, Channel, SDR)
  • Capitalizing on your management & coaching skills, you will focus on strategy, planning and execution of the plan across the EMEA region
  • Manage region’s day-to-day operations, including recruitment, retention, and performance management, employee development, and enablement
  • Work with Finance and Sales Operations on sales team P&L and operations forecasting

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience building, training and leading high-performance sales teams within Software and SaaS industry, experience in Security desirable
  • Deep experience selling complex Software solutions to IT Ops and/or DevOps leaders.
  • Relevant software industry experience in IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management
  • A consistent record of leading teams to exceed quota attainment with a team first mindset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional and successful approach to Sales Management of a Mid-market business
  • A consistent approach to cadenced sales forecasting with accuracy
  • Consistent drive and infectious enthusiasm to lead a team from the front and build highly aligned customer relationships
  • Ability to operate under pressure
  • To lead by example, support a transparent culture and create a fun and positive working environment
