About the role

With the launch of this bolder and more externally orientated strategy, we are developing an equally bold new global brand and brand expression that will bring our Strategy to life for our audiences, is clear about what we stand for and unifies us in our communications. The Senior Graphic Designer will be instrumental in the implementation and development of this new brand, using excellent graphic design skills to apply the new visual identity across all graphic media for the Museum.

In the role you will work closely with an external agency who have been appointed to develop the new visual identity and you will acquire an internal ‘know-how’ of designing with new brand which can be communicated to the wider Museum. Situated within the Design Studio, you will work closely with Marketing, Digital, Film Studio, Retail and Licencing teams and others to deliver a successful outcome.

As well as designing with the new brand you will provide project administration and programming, being responsible for day-to-day project delivery coordination.

About you

You will have a degree or equivalent experience in graphic design. You will have a high standard portfolio with demonstrable experience of working with or for a brand or branding agency developing or applying a new brand. Demonstrable experience working with brands in the Museums, gallery or heritage sector is an advantage.

In addition, you will be an efficient project runner with excellent administration and organisational skills. You will have experience of coordinating projects and people, be a skilled and influential communicator with a sense of diplomacy, teamed with well-developed interpersonal skills.
