The Operations Academy offers early career professionals the opportunity to participate in a 12-month rotational program. You’ll immerse yourself within Operations gaining exposure to different Technical challenges across the Manufacturing Design, Quality and Technical Program Management, with a high level of visibility to key stakeholders and leaders through a variety of projects, assignments and teams. You will grow with the support of mentors. At the end of the program, participants will land a new full-time position in one of their rotations. The program will provide you with broad exposure, helping you build up the skills, perspectives, and connections enabling you to become a leader in your field. Participants are placed on teams that align with their interests and allow them to work on high-impact and meaningful projects with Operations.

• Minimum 2+ years experience in manufacturing, engineering, quality, process development or technical program management
• Intermediate skill level using data to solve problems and make products
• Leadership experience within group projects or prior internships
• Proven track record of delivering on challenging projects with tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to peers, stakeholders and leaders

Description Rotation Opportunities: DFM Engineer: Design for Manufacturing Engineers are specialists in high-quality, reliable electronics manufacturing. They spend the majority of their time working in the NPI space, which is the time a product spends growing from proof of concept until it is ready for mass production. You will be responsible for applying guidelines to ensure the manufacturability of a product's design. You’ll be required to use problem solving and data analysis methods to address concerns as they arise. Manufacturing Design Engineering: Apple Manufacturing Design Engineer’s are extraordinary engineers that provide end to end manufacturing and process solutions for key design features. This includes manufacturing process development and capability, selection and/or design of manufacturing equipment, automation, and strategic R&D. Quality Engineering: Our Manufacturing Quality Engineers and Product Quality Managers enable the mass creation of impossible products and are key partners in the development of Apple's renowned designs. Engineers on these teams develop measurement technologies, control strategies, and manufacturing processes that achieve ambitious specifications at massive production scale. Technical Program Management: TPMs partner closely with engineers across Apple in support of new product launches and sustaining operations, ensuring contract manufacturer readiness for high-volume production. TPMs work collaboratively at every build to guarantee assembly, testing and qualification of our products.
