This role can be based at any Eaton facility or an approved remote location including Dublin, Budapest, Vienna, Germany, and Hengelo.

Our supply chain management team creates bottom-line impact by driving cost management and operational benefits. Within our supply chain, the Program Manager - III manages and leads resourcing and VAVE projects created by the Global Procurement Organization with the objective of ensuring all projects / programs are properly defined and executed to meet organizational goals and requirements. This role develops and implements processes and policies, directs project team members, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and execute projects and programs as per defined expectations.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

  • Initiate several global projects with varying levels of complexity and dollar impact by defining project scope, resources, timelines and objectives (e.g. technical, cost and quality commitments) and obtaining appropriate level of sponsorship.
  • Drive program execution through planning, resource management, scope management, performance tracking, and identifying risks, issues & opportunities using Agile stage gate methodology and other project management methodologies.
  • Cultivate customer focused mindset and stakeholder partnership through team empowerment, collaboration, effective communication, and mentoring and coaching project team members.
  • Provide weekly project updates (i.e. Project Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) to GPO and business unit leaders of the current status relating to milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).
  • Participate in developing strategic business solutions and executing the overall program plan to achieve GPO cost-out
  • Create and share program management best practices working in a cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Product Engineering, Marketing, Category Mgt., Manufacturing, Business Mgt., etc.) at the enterprise global level.
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ professional experience in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Program Management
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the region on an on-going basis without Company sponsorship
  • No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must work from an EMEA Eaton Facility or remote facility to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fully demonstrating in Portfolio, Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
  • Ability to provide strong leadership in a matrix environment to promote best practices in managing interrelated projects and programs to ensure successful delivery
  • Strong project management and excellent organizational skills are fundamental, as is the ability to liaise with people at different levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate managerial courage in driving actions and timelines to ensure success of projects and to avoid any delay in timeline & budget runs beyond established baseline.
  • Creating / executing / communicating vision, strategy, structure, goals, processes and ensuring alignment with functional / locational / divisional priorities.
  • Comfortable and professional approaching higher levels of management at the enterprise level
