Product Marketing Management (PMM) is a critical voice of the customer in the entire product lifecycle from needs identification and prioritization to commercial launch and success monitoring. This team helps define, design, and ultimately deliver on the promise of the go-to-market plan for PayPal products. Within the PMM team, the graduate intern will focus on our small and midsize business (SMB) financial services offerings and will be integral to inbound (voice of customer and market) and outbound (go-to-market) activities related to characterizing SMB customer needs and driving great products into the SMB sales channel and customer base globally. The graduate intern will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Services PMM and will focus on PayPal’s Global Merchant Lending products, including PayPal Working Capital and PayPal Business Loans. They may also support broader initiatives in financial services relating to banking, lending, and cash management.

The ideal candidate should have interest and/or experience in:
- Product Marketing or a similar discipline
- Bringing together market and customer insights to inform product roadmaps
- Creating impactful go-to-market strategies and driving results
- Knowledge or working experience with SMB customers
- Executing complex programs through a matrixed organization with a One Team mindset
- Influencing stakeholders
- The graduate intern should be curious and energized by a deep understanding of what customers care about, what their motivations are, and how these fundamental needs translate to compelling product experiences that customers love and advocate.
- They should also be comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate a willingness to get into the weeds to solve tough problems.
Internship Program Information and Requirements :
- This is a Summer 2022 Internship program. Spring and Fall 2022 internships are not available at this time.
- Recruitment and application consideration will be on a continuous basis throughout Fall 2021 and early Winter 2022.
- Must currently be pursuing an MBA degree with concentration in Marketing, Strategy, or General Management, from an accredited college or university.
- Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2022.
- Must reside in the U.S. during the Summer internship program.
- Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer.
