Job Description

Description:The selected candidate is responsible for developing recruitment plans for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), planning campus events, coordinating the logistics for the event with the appropriate vendors, universities and business area staff. The position is responsible for achieving a high return on investment by ensuring the events are properly advertised to attract students with the desired skills. The selected candidate is responsible for sourcing and tracking the best fit candidates from the events and from the school in general to business area requisitions to be considered for interview. Estimated average travel is 40%. Position demands significant overtime, especially during peak periods.
The role will be responsible for:
Developing relationships and providing high level customer service to managers to determine optimal successful campus strategies that ensures “best fit” candidates are included in the recruiting pipeline and appropriately tracked to requisitions to be considered for interview.
Develops positive corporate image for all technical and business majors at assigned schools. Responsibilities include: Event Identification, planning, coordination, sourcing, identifying and working closely with “best fit” students. Support recruitment team in coordination of National Diversity Events as assigned. Flexibility and team work are significant in this role.
Basic Qualifications:
-Demonstrated excellent relationship building skills
-Recruiting experience or knowledge
-Ability to travel 40% of the time
-Event planning or activity coordination experience
-Proficient with PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
-Experience working in the university domain space specifically HBCUs
-Demonstrated multi-tasking skills for various types of projects
-Time management skills w/closure focus
-Highly organized with attention to detail
-Able to work in a highly functioning, fast-paced and dynamic environment
-Flexibility, and team work are of significant importance
-Experience working in a virtual environment
-Knowledge of social media for sourcing/recruiting efforts
-Knowledge of Handshake, Text Recruit and Yello
