Sales Operations Analyst

What You’ll Do:

This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Sales Strategy and will be responsible for supporting all sales operations activities by coordinating and effectively reporting accurate sales forecasts, evaluating and organizing data, ensuring sales teams are appropriately maintaining accurate sales activity records, and providing operational adherence and enablement to improve sales processes and efficiency of the sales department. This means undertaking quantitative analysis of Uptake’s sales practices, operational reports, etc. with the objective of achieving tactical and long-term sales booking and revenue goals while creating greater sales efficiencies that are repeatable and scalable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Track and analyze key metrics – pipeline growth, sales forecasting, and quota attainment
  • Collect, consolidate, and generate weekly sales forecasts (month and quarter focused) and roll up each week’s numbers to sales management.
  • Proactively analyze win-loss data and report on key findings to sales management.
  • Repeatable and scalable reporting and analysis for the Sales department, including executive reporting of sales results, key sales metrics and KPIs, and ad hoc sales reporting needs.
  • Implement and manage reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com ensuring sales executives and sales managers have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
  • Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports. Recommend revisions to existing reports or assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Provide sales executive and sales manager enablement on new and existing sales processes, MEDDPICC sales qualification methodology, Account and Opportunity planning, close plans, etc.
  • Observe and keep the sales team in check tactically while making sure everyday tasks are aligned with the company strategy.
  • Flag and report potential or known issues on behalf of sales and sales operations.
  • Offer assistance in the proposal process when needed.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Analyst or similar analytics supporting role
  • Demonstrate ability to think tactically and take broad requirements and concepts and develop structured reporting, actions, and measurable metrics and then execute on each.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities with highly developed attention to detail is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional systems skills including Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint or Google Slides are required.
  • Ability to perform Salesforce.com administrative functions is a plus.
  • Proficient in executing and delivering sales process and tools end-user training.
  • Experience collaborating across multifunctional teams including pre-sales managers, sales managers, sales executives, and account management teams
  • Self-motivated teammate who can prioritize and lead projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a high, fast-paced SaaS growth company is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in an international/multicultural environment
  • Solid data and KPI orientation
