Procure to Pay (P2P) Specialist, Global Finance Operations

We’re looking for a highly motivated finance professional to support our Procure to Pay function and help us build an exceptional team in our Bengaluru Center of Financial Excellence. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented, have outstanding customer-service with an enthusiasm for driving operational excellence and process improvements.

In this role you will:

• Support the BGL P2P Lead as they manage the transition of defined P2P workflows to the newly-formed team in our Bengaluru site.
• Be responsible for executing on P2P processes to the highest standard such as invoice processing, supplier setup and employee expense management
• Have experience in managing a high volume transactional workload and adhering to tight processing deadlines
• Possess a keen ability to balance multiple tasks and adapt to a global, fast-paced environment without compromising on Stripe’s ‘user’ first principle
• Have a keen eye for process improvements and the ability to manage P2P related projects that may require cross-team engagement
• Create, monitor, and meet SLAs across processes while owning process and system improvements to maintain SLAs as volume scales
• Support our Accounting team with all P2P related month-end tasks
• Assist in providing support needed for audits, financial reporting, and other administrative tasks that may be required from time to time
• Assist in process documentation, process improvement and training of new team members

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 3+ years of relevant procure-to-pay experience, with a degree in Accounting or Finance an advantage
• The ability to exercise good judgment and discretion while rigorously applying our compliance policies in the T&E and Procurement functions
• Thorough knowledge of accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
• Ability to work independently in a scaling and rapidly changing environment
• Excellent organizational skills, and ability to communicate, both written and verbal Solid problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

Nice to haves:

• Oracle Fusion 12 experience (or working knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP)
• Advanced Excel skills (PIVOTS, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with Alteryx or other transformation tools
• Report writing skills, process documentation and advanced problem solving skills
• Accounts Payable, Procurement or Accounting background (experience with journal entries, accruals, monthly close, etc)
