As a Partner Sales Manager at Sumo Logic you will be responsible for the overall development and success of our key partners (e.g. AWS, SI’s, MSP’s, Distributors, Consulting organisations & VAR’s) and will drive partner development opportunities. You will help create and deliver on a strategy to amplify our efforts within your designated territory,

Responsibilities

  • Nurture existing key partner relationships
  • I dentify, recruit and enable new Partners to help expand Sumo Logic’s indirect sales reach within your assigned territory.
  • Build a regional Partner business plan with quantified goals and milestones to achieve Partner sourced revenue metrics and address certified Partner capacity gaps
  • Understand, develop and navigate complex sales cycles involving a variety of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical, and product management ) to drive overall partner success
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline that Sumo Logic can influence to leverage cloud Security and Observability
  • Enable sales and technical cross-training of Sumo Logic’s solutions within our Partner Ecosystem
  • Work with respective field teams on demand gen initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage regular business reviews between Sumo Logic and Partners.
  • Attend and present on quarterly business reviews
  • Maintain and report an accurate sales forecast in Salesforce and other company tools

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience driving partner revenue across Enterprise businesses in UKI, within a software or SaaS organisation preferably within the Data Analytics, Security, Digital Transformation or Observability space
  • Experience identifying, recruiting/onboarding new partners and nurturing/enabling them accounts
  • Direct experience creating and executing Partner business plans with both Global and regional sized Partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of technical and business discussions with internal Sumo Logic colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying bid opportunities and leading proposal responses to RFPs
  • Ability to develop, communicate, and document strategic programs and initiatives to stakeholders and executive management alike
  • Understand why businesses re-architect applications to the Cloud
  • Understanding of how logs support Security and DevOps use Cases is desirable
  • Must be comfortable working in start-up environment
  • Commutable distance to London with a willingness to travel 30-50%
