The Opportunity

To keep up with Mosaic's exciting growth trajectory, we are actively sourcing for an experienced and talented Sr. Business Analyst, Financial Systems to join our Enterprise Applications group. In this role, your responsibilities will include providing ongoing process improvement, reporting, and tool support for the Finance organization. You will lead technology-related project efforts to improve operational efficiency and enhance business processes. This includes developing robust and dynamic reporting that allows business groups to deliver value and efficiency in decision making. Additionally, the role performs system administration, testing, and configuration tasks for all Finance Systems tools.

  • Develop a deep understanding of current state processes to fully document strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement
  • Define, update, and implement an enterprise-wide Financial Systems strategy and roadmap aligned with company’s strategic objectives
  • Define and gain agreement for end state processes and ensure current and future processes fully support data integrity requirements across the enterprise
  • Define high level integration specifications that meet strategic objectives
  • Create detailed specifications through user stories, acceptance criteria and acceptance tests
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog of features for development based on the rapidly evolving needs of the business
  • Closely collaborate with other operations teams to ensure a stable and consistent environment for our business partners
  • Establish clear goals for service delivery so success factors can be established, measured and reported
  • Lead projects to improve existing systems functionalities and design innovative solutions
  • Validation of data results - ticking and tying reports and systems’ balances

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including banking
  • High-level understanding of ERP systems and creative design tools and processes
  • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to take the lead role in developing comprehensive functional specification documents, process flow diagrams, solution design documents, use cases, test plans, and training documentation
  • Excellent communicator with a proven track record of stakeholder expectation management
  • Demonstrated ability to bring innovative and cost-effective business solutions
  • Ability to influence business partners on proposed process optimizations
  • Ability to effectively run multiple projects at a time, communicate clearly across projects, key partners, and project teams
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle Fusion, Netsuite, Intacct) and FP&A systems (Anaplan) is a plus
  • Experience effectively leading change management and process re-engineering required to implement successful services
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver great presentations to communicate your work in a polished and professional manner
  • Seasoned pro in product development practices and possess a strong technical depth in the tools used to create those products
  • Be a bridge between business customers and technical teams (in the domain area) to communicate product solutions effectively
  • Working knowledge of COSO and/or COBIT Framework
  • Understanding of IT risks
  • Understanding of data governance, and accuracy of information. Understanding of consumer loan life cycle is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
