The Enterprise Printing Technician will be assigned to the Digital Workplace Services - Managed Print Services (MPS) team. This position will be responsible for supporting the overall day-to-day technical operations of Collins Aerospace laser and label printing infrastructure. This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Administer the Enterprise Print Environments including Windows print queues, YSOFT SafeQ software, and other ERP/PLM/MES software

•Assist with configuration and maintaining print server infrastructure in support of the Managed Print Services program (MPS)

•Provide onboarding support of printers into the Managed Print Services (MPS) program during MPS program rollout.

•Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis for completion of maintenance and upgrades to server systems and applications and helping with any outage/problem issues

•Troubleshoot printer issues, ensure security of the print environment and remediate any compliance issues

•Support remote technicians

•Provide Xerox/Rightfax Fax support

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
  • No travel is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting an Enterprise printing environment is required
  • Strong troubleshooting skills including Windows Server Printing, MFD, Laser, and label printer issues
  • Basic knowledge of network architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing over 1000 devices in an Enterprise environment
  • Experience in ERP, PLM, and MES system printing (SAP, JD Edwards, Epicor, Teamcenter, etc..)
  • Experience with administering YSOFT SafeQ environment a plus
