Location: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier)

Contract: Permanent

Royal Canin has a strong innovation agenda delivering health and nutrition to cats & dogs through 3 business pillars: Veterinarian, Professionals and specialized pet trade.
The Global project manager has overall responsibility of the planning and the execution of innovation projects in terms of Global development. He/She/They will partner with the Project Owner to manage the stage and gates process and ensure gate submission. The objective is to focus on execution, improved visibility of risks and issues, and help to establish a culture of discipline and excellence in execution.
He/She/They work in close collaboration with global and regional teams: R&D, Marketing, Supply, Commercial, Regulatory, Graphic Chain, Q&FS.

What are we looking for?

• 5 years of business experience

• Master degree in Business or Technical Field (engineering, marketing, or supply chain management ideally)

• Fluent in English
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build consensus among multiple groups with diverse priorities, functions, and cultures

• Demonstrated expertise managing multiple projects in a complex environment
• Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or Prosci)
• Knowledgeable of PPM and Smartsheet
• Understanding of the different business functions (R&D, marketing, supply, commercial,..), and network within the organization is a plus

What would be your key responsibilities?

Planning and control
• Develop and own project planning and timelines. Ensure alignment of stakeholders on key decisions points, issues, risk management and actions.
Project governance
• Governs adherence of the project to Quest process and the approval of gate readiness to advance project to more mature stages. Guide the teams through escalation and approval process
• Bring visibility of project status, escalate issues, make decisions happen
Communication
• Shape timely relevant project communication including clear recommendations to the different forums/SOP+ steps.

Root cause analysis and problem solving
• Drives root causes analysis relating to the challenges potentially encountered throughout the project delivery & QUEST process adherence, lead problem solving with cross functional teams.

• Conduct post projects and post launch reviews.

• Maintains a collaborative, motivated, and effective team by identifying required team players and engaging them
