As an PD EPM (Product Design Engineering Program Manager), you will be responsible for managing the duties to ensure the iPhone engineering builds are completed successfully. Your will work on BOM setup in database, material planning and tracking (Clear to Build), Inventory control, working with enclosure vendors on material delivery schedules, managing module integration to support the main line production. As well as all duties that impact build efficiency. This is an individual contributor role, supporting system Engineering Program Manager to manage the development of next generation Apple products. Role encompasses interfacing with Design teams and Factory engineers; as well as managing vendors who deliver strategic solutions.

• At least 1 year of related technical background in Consumer Electronic Products Ideally in Technical Program or Project Management
• Excellent data presentation, communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience

• Ability to comprehend, communicate and handle factory situations
• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Description

Description This is a junior level position. You will be handling iPhone engineering build logistics and to ensure build resources are in place. Enable large multi-functional teams and corresponding module integration. Orchestrate competing demands, set priorities and drive its execution. Understand factory issues and drive mitigation and closure. Drive internal program process to guarantee high quality execution. Support high level milestone execution in a fast paced core technology design team. Interface and drive factory issues within multi-functional teams. Provide support for design teams to track and manage the PD parts necessary for build success. Manage both vendors and factories, understand factory processes in order to work through issues that may be blocking a build. Ability to communicate in both Mandarin and English with appropriate depth to provide both instructions as well as updates. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
